Dr. Victor Ng Chun Keat

Dr. Victor Ng Chun Keat is a Psychiatrist, who is registered under Malaysian Medical Council and National Specialist Register. He obtained his Medical Degree (MD) from the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Master Medicine in Psychiatry, M.MED (PSY) from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Dr. Ng speaks well in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

He had training and experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and motivational interview (MI) for patients who have addiction problems.

He has abundant clinical experience in managing cases such as schizophrenia and psychotic disorder, mood disorder, suicide prevention, child and adolescent issues including autism, hyperactivity and inattention, old age psychiatry, addiction problems, stress, and anxiety management. He has special interest in clinical areas such as mood disorders, dementia, addiction, and occupational mental health issues. He strongly advocates raising awareness for mental illnesses and the need to get early treatment. He was actively involved in community care for psychiatric patients previously and was actively in doing promotional campaigns for psychiatric illnesses.

He strongly believes and actively does rehabilitation for psychiatric patients. He believed that psychiatric patients are to be prepared for their eventual recovery and reintegration into society.

Dr. Victor Ng Chun Keat actively provides physical and virtual mental health educational programs. He is enthusiastic and frequently involved in numerous undergraduate and postgraduate psychiatry training programs. He actively integrated with multiple government and non-government agencies for numerous courses.
